Earth Month 2011

This year for Earth Month, Aveda will be donating 100% of all proceeds from their 'Light the Way' lavender candles to Water Aid Australia. With the purchase of the 'Light the Way' candle and another product which features the lavender aroma, you will receive 2 trial size skincare or haircare lavender products of your choice. Bach Hair will also be donating $5 from every in-salon treatment from the 27th March until the 30th April towards Aveda's contribution to the Premier's Flood Relief Appeal.

Bach Hair in New York

NEW YORK PRESS: Fashion and beauty are a global phenomenon in the modern world, where international boundaries are less important than shared visions. And fashion as well as beauty will be on stage in celebration of this global vision at Intercoiffure’s Fall Atelier,October 17-19 at The Waldorf Astoria in New York City.  Intercoiffure America/Canada (ICA) has invited Peter Hanmer of Bach Hair Brisbane, Australia, to present a collection as International Guest Artist. His collection will be enhanced by the unconventional fashions of Miss Unkon, an up-and-coming fashion label from Australia.

“The title of my show is ‘Every Girl,” observes Peter Hanmer. “It’s about creating individuality—transforming basic, everyday cuts into something special. The Miss Unkon brand sets off this concept perfectly.”

Created by designer Courtney Meyer(www.missunkon.com), the brand’s mission is to create a sparkling, positive and youthful experience of fashion that will enhance the lifestyle and expand the world of the girl who wears it. “The Intercoiffure presentation is an amazing opportunity to see how my label works outside the Australian market,” says Meyer.

“Every Girl” will be on stage on Sunday, October 18, at 4 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom at The Waldorf Astoria.
